Welcome to our NEW Rockland Community College adjunct faculty Website!
We hope that you will find it informative and helpful, and that it
will provide a long overdue and much-needed connection for all of us.
At this website, you will find a copy of our Constitution and our most
recent contract, which covers 2003-2008. We are currently in the
process of negotiating a new contract, which will be retroactive to
September 2008.
Here you will also find announcements of our General Membership
meetings, which are held semi-annually during the fall and spring
semesters. Announcements will also be sent to your department mailbox
and reminder notices will be posted around the campus. Be sure to keep
a look-out
for them.
The Adjunct Faculty Office is located on the main campus, Academic II
on the first floor Room 2107. The Telephone extension is 4336. Please
don't hesitate to call if you have any questions or a problem you wish
to discuss.
We have made great strides in the last fifteen years, improving
salaries and the conditions of our employment. We have begun to
achieve greater recognition for our professional service to the
Rockland Community College Community. With hard work and hope we are
continuning to pursue these goals.
